Winter’s Wish: Spirits of Edo In the year 1716, during the Kyoho era, the city of Edo faced a series of unsettling incidents that left its people disturbed and fearful. To restore order and ensure safety, a group known as the “Oniwaban” is formed. Meanwhile, in a remote village, a young girl possesses extraordinary powers.
However, due to her ability to perceive “black Threads” preceding disasters, she is banished to the snowy mountains. Unexpectedly, men claiming to be from the Oniwaban approach her, declaring that her unique gift is urgently needed in Edo.
They believe that her ability to sense impending calamities could potentially save the entire country from demonic forces. However, there is also a possibility that her powers could bring about destruction instead.
