The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story is an action RPG set in the League of Legends universe, developed by Digital Sun, the creators of Moonlighter. The game is based in the kingdom of Demacia, where the Mageseekers have the power to suppress magic users in the name of public order. They do this by inducting, indoctrinating, locking up, or driving them into hiding. This is an action role-playing video game developed by Digital Sun and published by Riot Forge. A spin-off game of the League of Legends franchise, the game was released for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S in April 2023.

GAMEPLAY

The game story follows Sylas, as he escapes captivity and leads a group of rebel mages for a revolution against the tyrannical kingdom of Demacia. The Mageseeker is a 2D action role-playing video game played from a top-down perspective. Sylas can dash and use his chains to pull himself towards hostile opponents.

He can cast a wide range of elemental spells, though he can also temporarily borrow enemies’ magical abilities for one-time use in combat. In addition to the main campaign, the game also features side quests, allowing players to assault enemy bases or complete arena challenges. In this game, you take on the role of Sylas, a mage who has just escaped from unjust captivity by the Mageseekers.

With the chains that once bound you, you must fight to liberate your homeland from tyranny, one Mageseeker at a time. As you progress through the game, you’ll encounter various spells and magical abilities that you can master and customize to fit your unique play style. Whether you choose to use your enemies’ magic against them or take them down with brute force, the choice is yours.

In addition to mastering magic, you’ll also need to raise a rebellion to overthrow the Mageseekers. You’ll need to recruit mages from across the land to join your cause and build up your army to upgrade your base and unlock new abilities. Throughout your journey, you’ll encounter formidable foes and unforgettable allies, both old and new. It’s up to you to uncover the buried secrets of Demacia’s past and use them to shape its future.
