Livestream 2: Escape from Togaezuka Happy Place (NSP, XCI) ROM + v1.0.1 Update

Livestream 2: Escape from Togaezuka Happy Place is a survival horror action-adventure game and the 2nd installment in the Livestream series developed and published by Create. It is the sequel to Livestream: Escape from Hotel Izanami. It was officially released on September 21, 2023, worldwide for Nintendo Switch.

The PC version was released on October 6, 2023. It’s a side-scrolling survival action-adventure game in which players must escape from a mysterious mascot in an abandoned shopping mall, using items and hints as clues.

Depending on the player’s choices, the fate of the girls will drastically change. Can you elude the terror of relentless pursuit?  The sequel to the survival horror game “Livestream: Escape from Hotel Izanami” is now accessible! It’s a side-scrolling survival action-adventure.

Where players must flee from an enigmatic mascot within an abandoned shopping mall, utilizing items and clues as their lifelines. Depending on the player’s decisions, the destinies of the three young women will undergo dramatic shifts.

GAMEPLAY

Will the three streamers be able to meet up again and manage to safely escape? Himari, Aina, and Miyabi will start their searches from different locations. By switching between the characters, you must find clues you need to escape. Will the three of them safely reunite and escape from the abandoned shopping mall without leaving anyone behind?

Evade attacks from the mascot and escape from the mall! While exploring the abandoned mall, the three are attacked by a mysterious mascot! If you encounter the monkey mascot, run away immediately, hide, and escape its pursuit! Explore the abandoned mall and find clues to escape! To escape from the abandoned shopping mall, you must acquire items and hints.

You must search all over the mall to find items and hints you need to escape. Furthermore, there are also various puzzles before the three. Use the items and hints you get to solve them! It’s not just the mascot who is after your life! The streamers will find themselves in critical situations you can’t help but stare at! Himari and the others will be faced with various dangers during their search!

They must investigate their surroundings and make use of the items and hints they obtained to escape from this life-threatening situation! Don’t just sit there and watch the streamers in their critical condition, calmly assess the situation and try to escape from the desperate situation! Be careful not to watch too much!

STORY

A group of live-streamers, Himari Aitsuki, Miyabi Himemiya, and Aina Hiiragi enter the abandoned shopping mall “Togaezuka Happy Place”, famous for being haunted, to shoot a video. When they arrive at the ruins and nothing happens, the girls, already not feeling excited about the shoot, are disappointed but get attacked by a mascot monkey that appears out of nowhere.

When Himari comes to, Miyabi and Aina are nowhere to be seen. Himari and the others are trapped in the abandoned shopping mall and each begins to search for a way to escape. As if to make sure they can’t escape, a mysterious mascot appears before them and attacks! Just what is this strange mascot? Will the three be able to meet up again and manage to safely escape?

CHARACTERS

Similar to its predecessor, the game features new more characters as well as three female playable protagonists: Himari Aitsuki, Aina Hiiragi, and Miyabi Himemiya.

• Himari Aitsuki – The heart and soul of the streaming group “Hima Channel”. She admired Nana Channel and started streaming after inviting Miyabi and Aina to join her. Since her subscriber count isn’t increasing, she wants to make a project that will create tons of buzz in just one try. She’s an ordinary college student with no special strengths. Thinking that she has nothing she excels at, this has become complex for her. She had nothing in particular that she wanted to achieve and was just living a self-indulgent university life. But when she one day stumbled across the three members of “Nana Channel” being supported by tons of people and shining, she thought to herself she wanted to be just like them and so started streaming videos. Her goal is to collaborate with Nana Channel.
• Aina Hiiragi – A college student at the same university as Asami and Miyabi. She’s their junior by one year. She’s a very indoorsy net and game-enthusiast and lives life at her own pace. She’s mainly responsible for video editing since she has extensive knowledge of how to operate a PC. She first got acquainted with Himari and Miyabi when helping them when they were having trouble with video editing at the university. Himari then forcibly recruited her as a member. Himari and Miyabi dote on her like a sister, but…
• Miyabi Himemiya – A college student at the same university and year as Himari. She’s the youngest child of a wealthy family. Surprisingly, she’s a good cook and family-oriented. However, she doesn’t think that this is something to be proud of. She gradually starts becoming fascinated by Himari isn’t afraid to get into her personal space and they become good friends. She’s semi-forced into streaming videos with Himari. At first, she had little interest in video streaming, but now she enjoys it even though she complains about it.

The game only features one antagonist:

• Monkey Mascot – A monkey mascot suddenly appears before Himari and her friends as they shoot a video at the abandoned shopping mall. It will repeatedly attack them as they try to escape!
