God of Rock Seamlessly blends rhythm-based gameplay with fighting game mechanics in intense one-on-one battles. The enigmatic deity of rock has resurrected the souls of the most legendary musicians in the universe for his amusement. Reincarnated with new bodies and abilities, each musician will compete in a global showdown to determine musical supremacy.

GAMEPLAY

Players control combatants in tournaments, as in fighting games. Instead of complex moves that must be memorized, players must time their inputs according to music, as in rhythm games. If both players’ inputs are perfectly timed, they block each others’ attacks. They can also do special moves, which allow them to heal themselves or alter their opponent’s music.

These special attacks can be countered with one’s special moves. The rhythm component becomes more difficult as time goes on. God of Rock has online multiplayer. Choose from a dozen distinct fighters, each with their design, mechanics, and harmonic attacks. Utilize normal moves to weaken your opponent and build a meter by hitting notes in time with the music.

Spend your meter to unleash EX and special moves that inflict damage and add complexity to the track. Finally, finish off your adversary with a devastating Superattack! As the battle progresses, the music track will continue to evolve in complexity and difficulty until only one fighter is left standing.

The mysterious God of Rock has revived the souls of the universe’s greatest musicians to clash for his entertainment. Revitalized with new bodies and new powers, each musician will become a contestant in his game, battling it out with each other for musical supremacy on a global stage.
