Each map contains numerous temporal markers to visit and exploit to resolve diverse cases of hacking, murder, theft, and more. An expansive, zoomable map for each era serves as the playing field for deductions and clue pursuit.

YOU must employ a deductive approach to piece together the missing fragments. With each case solved, the map transforms, unlocking fresh adventures. As evident, it’s a point-and-click game; your fully operational brain is the sole skill needed to preempt crime!

You won’t be alone in your endeavor: EVE, an advanced AI, shall aid you by offering guidance and tools. Through EVE’s system, new avenues emerge for locating clues and evidence: deduction sessions alternate with action and puzzle mechanics for a comprehensive user experience. During your journey, EVE will upgrade its systems, unveiling new functionalities.

GAMEPLAY

Players attempt to maintain the timeline by stopping crimes that should not happen. This is done by finding hidden objects in hand-drawn, black-and-white levels. Each level exists in multiple versions, called “ticks”, which represent a different point in time. The scenes in the ticks are somewhat different from each other, such as a crowd moving further along a street. Using clues, players complete a minigame to discover who the criminal is on each level. An AI assistant helps players manage moving between levels and ticks. Players can request in-game hints, zoom in to see the artwork in more detail, and highlight characters to track their movements across ticks.
