Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Special Edition is a re-release of Harvest Moon: Light of Hope that has all the extra features in the special edition along with all of the DLC. This game is a farm simulation role-playing game developed by Tabot, Inc. for multiple platforms.

First announced at E3 2017, It was first released for Microsoft Windows on November 14, 2017, with versions for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch following on May 29, 2018.  It was later released for iOS and Android on September 26, 2018. A version containing all previously released downloadable content titled Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Complete was released for Windows 10 and Xbox One on September 18, 2020.

Embarking on a journey for a fresh start, you encounter a storm that wrecks your ship. Fate leads you to a dilapidated harbor town where Dr. Jeanne saves your life. Despite the town’s deserted state, you embrace the challenge ahead. Your mission: rebuild the town, rescue the lighthouse, and forge a thriving community.

Expect hard work in farming, animal husbandry, and gathering resources. Along the way, fulfill villagers’ requests to unlock new areas and items. Engage in exciting festivals like the Dog Racing Festival. Form friendships, find love, and start a family with various potential partners, including a secret one.

GAMEPLAY

The setting is in a harbor town, with the goal being to revive the lighthouse. As in most Harvest Moon games, players can grow crops and raise livestock. Additionally, the player is also able to get married, have a child, buy animals, and help villagers with requests. Light the Way, Looking for a fresh start and some new surroundings, you set off on a voyage to begin your new life! Unfortunately, the weather has different plans, as your ship is hit by a storm, and goes down.

You drift into a small harbor town, now in shambles from the storm, where a young doctor named Jeanne saves your life.  The town has been deserted, but you’re never one to back down from a challenge! It will be up to you to help rebuild the town and save the lighthouse…but it won’t be easy! Nevertheless, with some hard work growing crops, tending livestock, and gathering materials for repairs, you will be able to make new friends, start a family, revive the lighthouse, and save the town, your new home.
